Our employment disability services all began with a donation of a block of land. David Morgan, a Wesley Mission Board and church member, had a passion to provide employment opportunities to those living with disabilities.

At one particular board meeting, David donated a piece of land originally intended for a personal business venture, in Rydalmere, north-west of Sydney, to establish this disability employment service.
Beyond employment
In 1972 the David Morgan Centre opened and began offering employment opportunities for people with disabilities who were unable to gain employment elsewhere. More than a workplace, the centre provided social interaction, extracurricular activities and the opportunity to develop skills in a warm, Christian environment.
Over the years the David Morgan Centre has evolved and adapted to the changing landscape of disability services. Today the centre offers sustainable and competitive business services in gardening, property maintenance, landscaping, packaging and cleaning. The people who work in these businesses are appropriately supported in their employment according to their diverse abilities.
