Alan Walker Village

Since opening its doors in 1986, Alan Walker Village has provided a place for seniors to live independently with the reassurance that they can access help, and move into higher level care when needed.

The village takes its name from Sir Rev Alan Walker, who was Superintendent of Wesley Mission from 1958 to 1978. Alan Walker was a gifted Christian leader and great social advocate who founded seminal programs such as Lifeline and the popular Teenage Cabaret youth outreach event, as well as spearheading Wesley Mission’s media presence on radio and television.
