Our recruitment process is simple.

Depending on the role you may be asked to complete an online assessment.

Checks
If you’re successful, we will do standard screening and reference checks.

FAQs

What are the requirements for screening checks and compliance?

Each role has different requirements, depending on the relevant legislation. If you’re unsure, please email or call the person who is hiring for the role. 

How does salary packaging work?

Salary packaging (or salary sacrificing) allows you to access tax-free benefits such as rent, general expenses, a complying mortgage, a phone, laptop or car, using your pre-tax salary. Are all employees eligible for salary packaging?

At Wesley Mission, any full time or part time employee, both permanent and fixed term, are eligible for salary packaging. 

Do you offer competitive pay?

We believe in paying people fairly for the work they do. Most roles are Award-based, or above Award, and other roles are on negotiated salaries. We regularly benchmark remuneration within our sector to keep pay competitive. We also offer a wide range of additional benefits.

How long does the recruitment process take?

The time it takes to complete the recruitment process depends on the role, the person hiring and whether assessments are required. It typically takes three to four weeks from receipt of your application to an offer of employment if you are the successful candidate.

Are there any specific requirements for roles?

At Wesley Mission, we require Police Checks and Working with Children checks for all roles. Some roles require additional checks. The person hiring the role can advise you of these.
