Harmful gambling can be difficult to recognise so it’s important to know the signs and symptoms. You or someone you know may need support if you:

  • gamble beyond what you can reasonably afford or want to spend
  • find it difficult to stop gambling
  • borrow or steal money so you can gamble
  • are piling up on debt or you’re unable to pay for basic essentials
  • think about gambling regularly throughout the day
  • experience relationship issues or troubles at work because of gambling
  • keep secrets or lie about gambling debts
  • feel like you’ve lost control of your life because of gambling.

If you or someone you know is affected by gambling, reaching out for help is the first courageous step and we’re here to support you.

Gambling harm can cause immense hardship for individuals and their families. A Gambling Counsellor can support you on your journey and to achieve your goals.
Gambling counsellors can support:
• Individuals directly experiencing gambling related harm
• Family and friends affected by gambling related harm
• People experiencing financial difficulties as a result of gambling

If you’ve had a gutful of gambling you can make a difference by speaking out.
