Who can volunteer?

Our tutors come from different backgrounds, but all share a desire to pass on their skills and knowledge to others. Many are older and close to retirement age themselves, while others are younger and enjoy taking time out of their regular work to support seniors and make a difference.

As a tutor, you’ll play a vital role in our students’ educational journey, contributing to their growth, wellbeing and helping create a more informed community. We have over 70 courses on offer, including psychology, languages, exercising, dancing, games, craft, art, knitting, acting and more. So whatever you’re passionate about, there’s an opportunity to share it with others in a safe, supportive environment.

You’ll need a patient and caring disposition and a minimum of one hour per week per term (9 or 10 weeks).
