Wesley LifeSkills offers supportive and caring centre-based learning and social activities for people living with disabilities, covered by the NDIS.

 

From cooking and woodworking to dancing and literacy, our personalised program helps you make great friends and reach your goals – whatever they might be. Activities include:

What is the LifeSkills program?
Our LifeSkills program is an NDIS-funded initiative that empowers people with disabilities to build practical skills, confidence, and independence. The program offers training in areas such as cooking, budgeting, social skills, personal care, and community participation, helping participants reach their full potential.
Who is eligible to join the LifeSkills program?
The LifeSkills program is open to NDIS participants with funding allocated to Capacity Building supports in their NDIS plan. If you’re unsure about your eligibility or need assistance accessing funding, our team can guide you through the process.
What types of skills are taught in the LifeSkills program?
We tailor our program to meet each participant’s needs and goals. Skills taught may include:

  • Personal care and hygiene
  • Cooking and meal planning
  • Budgeting and money management
  • Communication and social skills
  • Travel training and using public transport
  • Building healthy relationships
  • Job readiness and community engagement
How is the LifeSkills program delivered?
Our LifeSkills program is flexible and delivered through one-on-one sessions or group activities, depending on your preferences and goals. Sessions can take place in our facilities, in the community, or even in your home. We ensure every program is customised to your needs.
