Stuart and Alison's story: Taking a break from caring

Alison and Stuart are the loving parents of two little boys with special needs: Finn and Maxwell. Alison was feeling overwhelmed by the pressure of taking care of her two boys when a social worker referred her to Wesley Mission. Now Alison looks forward to every Wednesday when Louise arrives to help her with caring for her boys and keeping her house in order, and give her much needed emotional support. The four hours of respite care per week that Wesley Mission provides helps Alison to cope with caring for her beloved sons.
